REVOLUTION SMILE ADDED TO OZZFEST SECOND STAGE
The Revolution Smile is the latest additishaon to the Ozzfest bill. They will be rockin' the second stage, splitting the tour with Marz. Rev Smile - first half; Marz - second half (ie. Marz picks up in Pittsburgh). If you remember that great band Far from the mid-90's then you already are clued in: the group features ex-Far guitarist Shaun Lopez in their ranks but, really, the two bands' associations end there. According to Mr. Lopez, "Rock music is supposed to be dangerous...It's not afraid." We at Ozzfest like that attitude. Go to the MEDIA section and you can download upwards of ten songs FREE. Check out "Indiana Feeling", among others, to sample the rock...and the danger! This is one band to watch, we're tellin' ya!

JUST IN: THE DATSUNS TO OPEN MAIN STAGE
First, the good news: Yes, New Zealand's favorite sons, The Datsuns are coming to Ozzfest. These four AC/DC-inspired hoodrats tear sh*t up live and will be rocking the main stage for five dates only (that's the bad news). So, if I were you I'd go out and pick up a copy of the band's selt-titled debut on V2 Records to get ready for their live bitch-slap. And, for instant gratification, point your web browser to the band's official web site, www.thedatsuns.com. The thunder from Down Under is comin'!

Nothingface take their brutal-yet-melodic metal to new heights on their new album "Skeletons," now in stores (released yesterday, in fact). NEW SHADOWS FALL VIDEO NOW IN ROTATION ON MUCHMUSIC AND MTV
They f*cking rule. That's enough for a news story right there. But no, there's more. The Massachusetts five-piece recently had their brand-spankin' new video for "Destroyer of Senses" added to M2's Extreme Music and MuchMusic's Uranium shows. The clip was shot at a standing-room-only show at the Fat Cats club in Springfield, Mass. Taken from the Shads underground-buzzin' album, The Art of Balance, "Destroy of Senses" is a chugging three minute fusion of thrash, rock, and hardcore. And live, it's even more ferocious. The band wants your help getting this clip played on M2 and MuchMusic.
